He is interested in bringing digital health technology using machine learning and AI to disrupt the current health care space while simultaneously addressing the legal and ethical issues of such ventures.

Tom Winters MD

Tom is president of the Occupational and Environmental Health Network. Board certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine and Internal Medicine and trained in Infectious Disease, he brings over 35 years of experience directing occupational medicine at the Harvard teaching hospitals and research laboratories. His expertise includes toxic tort, radiation exposure, and corporate medical consulting.

Ned is a global physician executive and healthcare consultant with unique expertise in corporate healthcare benefits. His previous experience includes service as Chief Medical Officer of United States Steel Corporation, a fellowship at the CDC, and an extensive corporate consulting practice with multiple Fortune 500 companies. Ned is concurrently an Adjunct Assistant Professor at West Virginia University.

June Zhao PhD, MBBS

June is an assistant professor at the University of Oklahoma. An economist and mathematician, she brings expertise in healthcare finance and health IT to address the legal and financial risks of medical devices and enterprises. June obtained her PhD in health economics from McMaster University, PhD in applied mathematics from the University of California, and her MPH from Harvard.

Eric Martínez JD

Eric is a research fellow and board member at the Legal Priorities Project, an independent research project that develops and promotes high-impact interdisciplinary legal research in the areas of artificial intelligence, synthetic biology, climate change and institutional design. Eric is also pursuing a PhD at MIT in the department of brain and cognitive sciences, where he previously served as a research fellow after graduating from Harvard Law School and passing the bar exam in 2019.

Joyce Cheng MD

Joyce is a physician board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Currently a consulting physician in the post-acute rehabilitation space, she brings experience in both outpatient and acute inpatient settings. She has a special interest in neurorehabilitation, with the goal of improving function in people with strokes, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological disorders. Joyce earned her M.D. from Drexel University College of Medicine and completed medical residency at Temple University Hospital.

David Patton MD

David is a board certified child and adult psychiatrist. He draws upon extensive experience in private practice, emergency room, and clinical research facets of psychiatry, and is the co-founder of Pediatric, Family and Behavioral Health, PLLC. Dave graduated from UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, pursued his residency in Psychiatry at St-Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital System in NYC, and completed his fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Duke University Medical Center.
